Granny Squares Chair Throw

Making this Granny Squares Chair Throw really gives Handicraft Passion the opportunity and excuse to use the yarn that were in the box. The bright combination of hues really lights up the brown big chair in the hall. Handicraft Passion thought that it would be nice to show you the work in progress work. Here it is:

A Lovely Wooden Stool Cover

Phew.... finally I've completed this cover made of many many granny squares. It really adds live and colours to my hall. I just love it... ha ha

Felt Hair Clips for Little Toddlers and Little Kids

Aren't these clips lovely? Handicraft Passion just could not resist from making these little knickknacks for little girls after seeing crafters like One Crafty Mumma & Roxy Creations, showing off their beautiful clips they have made.

Seeing Circles

Title of Work: "Seeing Circles"
Medium Used: Acrylic on Canvas, Cotton Ribbon, Colourful Felt, Cotton Black String and plastic buttons
Size: 8"X 8" (22cm X 22cm)

Handicraft Passion has been seeing circles lately. There were so many events and activities coming up and she finds it quite tiring at times to handle them all at one time....Hence very often she is in the stage of seeing circles.... and this has given her the idea of producing a work on circles....hThese circles are in different colours to show that they are actually good and bright ideas generating behind her mind with the objective of accomplishing them, though not all at one go but at least one at a time. Time and more time is the main “ingredient” to this set of circles.

Baby Booties

These baby's first wee felt booties will keep baby's feet snug and comfortable. It is fully felt lined and embellished with a huge flower and applique leaves. A real perfect gift that will be treasured as a keepsake.

Handicraft Passion has made this as a personal gift to her colleagues who will be waiting for the arrival of their princess.

Granny Squares

Granny squares, one of the most staple craft patterns amongst crocheters, come in different pattern and colours. It is a made of crocheting several rounds of stitches to form a square. I started off the granny square project mid last year hoping to make a nice throw over or a cushion covers. Handicraft Passion couldn’t recall how many dozens she has already made as she was completely smitten with the pretty colourful squares in every one that she has made. The fact that having to make the same patterns repeatedly for such a long period of time could slowly retard the keen interest . She then put a stop in making more probably, well most likely just a mere excuse, because of running out of thread and didn’t bother to make an effort to replace them. Anyway, since Handicraft Passion is now into making very colourful art and has just completed an art work on Seeing Circles, it just struck her mind that she has some beautiful granny squares waiting to be used. Without hesitation, she is intending to put them to use very soon.....

Kiddie Shoes

This little shoe is made of felt using lots of blanket stitches. This isn't a perfect piece but Handicraft Passion could not keep her eyes off this little creation.

Felt Shoes - Next project? Well Handicraft Passion nodded and smiled. She is beginning to get into the swing of making more with of them in various patterns and colours of felt and add embroidery on the "toes".....

Spring cleaning time..... Well no more running away from it..it has been on my to-do-list coz these little gems have been laying all over my tool box. Didn’t realise I have so many different kinds of buttons....until I put them altogether....

Socks – I went for “Socks Hunting” lately....here are the latest collection of socks which will then be transformed into sock animals....

And Another Bunny Family...Bunny Family 2

These loving bunnies are delicately handcrafted collectible sock bunnies. They are all lovingly and carefully sewn entirely by hand without the use of sewing machines, therefore all of them have their own personalities and are unique in their very own way. They are designed and created for decorative purposes as collectible art pieces for children and adults alike. They all one day wish to find new homes where they would be loved and cherished.

Note- As button eyes and noses are used, these bunnies are NOT RECOMMENDED for babies or small children under 3. Although they are securely sewn on, they would not pose much of a challenge for a determined chewer :). However they could be modified to suit young children. They are wrapped in clear plastic packaging tied with a lovely ribbon. You may request for a beautiful keepsake box tied with a satin ribbon.

Strawberry, the Princess Bunny

Sometimes when Handicraft Passion gets on a roll with a pretty fun project like this, it’s hard to stop..... Here's the 3rd bunnies made over one of the weekends.

She is Strawberry.  She is a pretty pinkish bunny. Her eyes, nose n mouth are carefully embroidered with tender loving care. She is a special birthday present for a sweet little princess. 

She is going to be presented in this beautiful pinkish box. 

Ben, The Happy-Go-Lucky Bunny

Handicraft Passion sewed Ben in the morning of the weekend. So Ben indeed has a very relaxing and happy-go-lucky character. Look at the way he sticks his hands in his little pockets...Ben stands at 17" tall (44cm).

Huang Huang, the Chatty Lemon Bunny

Huang Huang, a little chatty bunny, has a pair of dark violet eyes. He loves being simple and is always appearing like a little jolly fellow. He makes no qualms over the cold weather as the orange scarf around his neck keeps him warm. Huang Huang stands at 15' (38cm) tall.
